BRISBANE BARRACUDAS UNDERWATER HOCKEY IS STOKED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE NOW HOSTING A BRAND NEW HOCKEY SESSION AT MUSGRAVE SWIM CENTRE ON SUNDAY AFTERNOONS.
This is a great venue and the pool has recently been refurbished, we have been very fortunate to have someone who is well connected enough to organise for the correct markings to be installed on the pool for Hockey (Thanks to Karl)
We would like to extend a big welcome to everyone to come and enjoy a game in this prime venue.
These games will be held every Sunday from 3-4 pm at the Musgrave park swim centre
Located at 100 Edmonstone Street South Brisbane and cost $10 per game
This pool is the birthplace of Underwater hockey in Queensland and we look forward to the dawn of a new era of Underwater hockey

Underwater hockey is a great family sport.
Underwater hockey is a highly inclusive game and most of our games consist of mixed men and women players. This sport is an excellent way to get fit with minimal impact on your joints and that is why we have players representing a wide age group and we have some families with 3 generations of players participating.
Underwater hockey is an awesome way to keep fit.
If you haven’t tried it yet please feel free to come to our next session and see for yourself. Holding our breath and chasing a puck along the bottom of the pool is guaranteed to improve your fitness dramatically. Because you are suspended in the water there is minimal impact on your joints making this the best sport around for people with joint issues who would still like to stay fit without aggravating their condition.
Underwater hockey is a wonderful social game.
Most of our members are also active in similar past times such as scuba diving, free diving or spearfishing making underwater hockey an effective gateway sport for meeting plenty of active people. We hold regular training sessions, competitions snd social events.
