We are having our 2nd “Top Dog” comp on monday night against the Gold Coast team. Russell F has selected the team below. Mena has kindly agreed to referee again. The game will start at 7.30pm. We will still be having a less serious game in the 2nd court at 7.15pm.
There are a lot of good players at the moment and it is difficult to choose.
I think the standard of hockey & teamwork at Chandler has improved quite a lot over the last few months.
Again, the team is for this game only, and things will likely change in the coming months.
The “Top Dog” competition team for this Monday night will be:
I’d like everyone there at 6:45pm to have a quick chat before we warm up.
Can everyone on the list please email or text me to confirm they are keen & available on Monday please.
See you there.

We will be having a final of our mini club competition. The winners of the first game will play off in the 2nd game of the night. The first game will start at 7.15 pm, so please be there ready to play at that time. If teams are not ready, the game will start when one team has 5 players in the water.
Now, we will be playing without refs. Without disclosing the exact prize money, I can assure you that it is not enough to make it worth your while to commit intentional fouls. I must say I have been impressed with the improvement in team work.
There will be a BBQ after.
Monday 31st March and Friday 4th
Games will be at Somerville, no games at Chandler.
This will be a good opportunity to try somewhere different. Also, we are looking at the possibility of starting a regular Friday night social game at Somerville. So, if you are a lapsed uwh player, but might be interested in playing at a more central venue, please come along on the Friday night 4th at Somerville.
7.30 for a 7.45 start. We will have 2 courts, so we will continue the A & B format.
6.30 pm – fun exercises designed to improve skills eg force m backs to develop flicks, mini games etc – organized by Karl Paton (thanks Karl)
7.00 pm – social games perhaps followed by dinner at Southbank
After the week at Somerville, we will return to Chandler.
Access to the Somerville House pool is off Stephens road at the corner of Dorchester St. There is street parking as well as some spaces available under the school (after hours).
